The Ground Up, Hole 27 and more from DeLaveaga
All Things Disc Golf had an a post by Jack Trageser, The Ground Up, on saving strokes in terrain that is not flat. Here in the QCA we have a lot of courses with varying terrain. Not necessarily as dramatic as DeLaveaga and other courses in mountainous or hilly parts of the country but challenging just the same.
I'd seen the article "The Ground Up" before. What I don't recall is having gone to the link showing how four different pros; Greg Barsby, Patrick Brown, Don Smith, and Avery Jenkins, approach the downhill drive from the teepad, 550 feet, to the basket on the
last hole, #27, of the DeLaveaga course.
At the end of each of the four videos are links to several other videos of shots atdifferent holes on the DeLaveaga Disc Golf Course. It looks like it'd be fun to play it!
Enjoy!!!
