Explore Disc Golf blog's Beginner Tip: "Miss Right" is dead on by the title alone, as well as the material in the post! It's got to do with Right Hand Back Hand drives or throwing based upon the rotation of the disc in the air, which is counter clockwise. For a lefty the advice would be "Miss Left." They go into it in a bit more depth and with a greater technical understanding than I have or give it when saying that to a fellow player with less experience than I. So
